Quantitative Trader - Systematic Futures

We are recruiting for a 5 to 10 year Quantitative Trader for a Leading Systematic/HFT Client to join their existing Quantitative & Systematic Trading team. This joins an existing team on one of the most exciting Systematic Global Trading Companies with cutting-edge AI & Systems. This hire will sit in the Prop group, focus on trading strategies & develop alpha signals and tools within US Cash Treasury & Futures markets. (NO INTERNS; NO RECENT GRADS)

As part of this team, you will design, develop & deploy your trading strategies as part of a larger team of 10. Proven expertise in C++ and Python is required for this highly collaborative role which will interact regularly with the Firms technology & trading experts who will ultimately manage the implementation & production processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop & deploy profitable systematic trading strategies in US Cash Treasury and Futures FI, FX, Equity and Commodities markets -- groupwide
  • Manage their specific trading strategy including design & research
  • Significant work with team in C++ and Python
  • Collaborate with the team's technology and trading experts for production implementation
  • Must have Futures & HFT Experience (Mid-Freq or Intraday ok)
  • Trading experience & track-record a MUST
Must Have Qualifications:
  • Bachelors in STEM or EE or CS with Advanced Degrees preferred (MS, MSc, MFE, PhD)
  • High-Frequency to Mid-Frequency (some overnight) trading experience & track-record
  • 5+ years active systematic trading experience w discretionary
  • Experience within a Prop Trading, Quantitative/Systematic Trading Fund or Multi-Strat Hedge Fund (Not interested in Long-only or Long-biased experience)
  • Proven experience with Alpha Signal generation within the Futures or Treasury Market
  • Experience working with a Portfolio Manager with provable P&L and Sharpe (2+)
  • High proficiency in C++ and Python (not a coding job but must work with QDs)
  • Experience with Linux framework & code repository management a must
  • Strong communication skills (verbal & written) essential
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA and be full-time, in-office
