Quality Technician - NESCO Rentals : Job Details

Description: Quality technicians are responsible for conducting testing procedures during manufacturing processes to ensure that products comply with quality standards. They're needed in a wide range of industries to inspect all varieties of goods, such as food, clothing, electronics, and healthcare equipment. While some examine a variety of items in any given day, many technicians work with similar types of products and are stationed at one workspace for long periods. Duties/Responsibilities:

Involved in the entire course of manufacturing.

May inspect components before assembly, analyze trial products during development, or test finished goods.

Record and analyze the results in order to decide whether to certify or reject specific products.

Solve production issues and recommend improvements.

Other duties may include preparing inspection plans, training new technicians, and evaluating quality cost.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Quality Management or equivalent experience as a Quality Technician in a production/manufacturing environment
• General knowledge of computers, machinery, and inspection processes
• Ability to understand and follow defined technical processes
• Strong knowledge of and adherence to safety requirements
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Working knowledge of specific equipment, related theory, and practical application
• Proficiency in executing established methods and procedures
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
• High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks and demands
