Quality Technician - Barnes Group : Job Details

Coordinate First Article Inspections with Quality Engineer, Manufacturing and Inspection personnel. Coordinate inspection data and collection of corrective actions for non-conformance submittal to customers. Coordinate Gage R&R Studies in support of new product introduction and current process improvements. Assist Quality Engineers with the establishment and continued analysis of SPC. Coordinate and complete product audits as required by customers. Support Quality Engineers in development of inspection plans, PFMEA's and Control Plans. Support Quality Organization in the development of standardized tools and procedures to improve productivity Learn and adhere to required safety standards and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Able to read blueprints. Knowledge of general quality functions including Gage R&R, SPC, and PFMEA and Control Plans. Strong organizational skills.
