Seeking an Incoming Goods Control Technicianto join our quality assurance team. This role is essential in ensuring that all inbound materials meetGMP (Good Manufacturing Practice)standards and support our commitment to product excellence. The ideal candidate will thrive in a hybrid environment-splitting time between hands-on testing and office-based data analysis.Key ResponsibilitiesInspect and verify the contents of all inbound trucks and deliveries for GMP complianceCollaborate with QA, logistics, and purchasing teams to align on daily inbound schedulesConduct physical sampling and testing of incoming goods, including checks for foreign objectsOperate in a temperature-controlled environment (70-85°F), with testing rooms equipped with ACLift and handle materials up to 50 lbs as part of the sampling processAnalyze material quality and compile detailed reports using SAP and Microsoft ExcelCheck products for Chemical analysis-Brix, pH, specifications of pits/skins/etcIdentify trends and escalate quality concerns as neededPreferred Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree is consideredStrong communication and collaboration skills across departmentsExperience in material analysis, quality testing, and GMP environmentsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and SAPAbility to interpret quality data and generate actionable insightsComfortable working in both warehouse and office settings (50/50 split)Work Environment & AttirePPE provided: hairnet, safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, and lab coatsPhysical and analytical balance: 50% logistics/lab sampling, 50% office-based reportingDaily start includes reviewing inbound schedules with logistics and purchasing teamsEEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
