If those values sound like you, keep reading!Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform quality checks on products and raw materials
• Micro-testing of products to ensure microbiological safety and quality
• Assist in maintain quality control equipment and lab
• Work with the team to implement corrective actions based on testing results
• Follow standard operating procedures for Quality/Food Safety Department
• Batching small laboratory samples
• Conduct microbiological tests on concentrates and juices

Qualifications:

• Associate's or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)
• Familiarity with laboratory environment and testing
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Conduct analytical and organoleptic tests on incoming raw materials for manufacturing
• Conduct analytical and organoleptic tests on incoming concentrates from our Co-Packers
• Analytical testing to include pH, Refractive Index/Brix, and acid titration
• Organoleptic testing to include taste, odor, and appearance

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or Food Science from a four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient with word processing and spreadsheet applications.

Preferred:

• Experience in a food manufacturing plant
• Familiar with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
