Our client is currently seeking a Quality Supervisor for their manufacturing facility near Walden NY. This is a day shift position working 7am - 4pm Monday - Friday. Excellent work-life balance. The Quality Supervisor will be responsible for analyzing process reports and troubleshooting problems to correct quality issues. This person will manage/develop and lead the quality team along with management to oversee the execution of Quality processes, policies and programs. This is a fantastic American company with 30+ domestic locations. They have been growing for years and have a people centric culture with low turnover.

This job will have the following responsibilities:

  • Support Quality Management in ensuring the Quality Management System (ISO) is being followed.
  • Work in conjunction with Manufacturing Management to ensure manufacturing and Quality Assurance procedures are being performed.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all quality personnel are trained to perform their respective job functions.
  • Responsible to direct the work and supporting Team Leaders & Lab Technicians
  • Participate in the establishment of quality specifications.
  • Support all activities associated with external audits.
  • Support customer complaint and reject process to ensure accurate root cause analysis, timely response, and determination and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Monitor site quality metrics and work with management to develop counter measures as needed.
  • Work with manufacturing to ensure product conformance through documented process monitoring and process controls methods.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Associate's / Bachelor's Degree is Preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
  • 3+ years of experience in quality control in a manufacturing environment - preferably in packaging / printing / plastics / paper conversion
  • Solid working knowledge of quality management systems & ISO Standards
