We're dedicated to innovation, collaboration, and delivering lasting spaces that make a difference.How You'll Contribute…Boyd Jones is seeking a Quality Manager to support our solar project portfolio. This position plays a critical role in upholding construction quality and compliance while implementing advanced quality processes to support innovation and sustainability.Key Responsibilities…Quality Program Leadership

• Manage and execute the project-specific Quality Management Plan (QMP) specific to solar PV construction to ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual standards.

Field Oversight & Compliance

• Conduct and oversee field inspections, audits, and testing of solar arrays, electrical systems, and structural components.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and client specifications.
• Provide leadership in resolving non-conformances and quality-related issues.
• Monitor work to ensure adherence to quality standards.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality records including inspections, non-conformance reports (NCRs), corrective actions, and test results.
• Prepare QA/QC reports for internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Lead root cause analysis and resolution efforts for quality-related issues.

Training & Development

• Train project staff, subcontractors, and field personnel on quality expectations, inspection procedures, and documentation protocols.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality ownership across all teams.

Commissioning & Turnover Support

• Support final system testing and verification, punch list generation, and commissioning activities.
• Ensure documentation is complete for project turnover and warranty validation.

What You'll Bring…

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 5-10 years in QA/QC roles within solar PV construction.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CQM, ASQ, ISO 9001 training) strongly preferred.
• Understanding construction materials, methods, and inspection procedures.
• Familiarity with renewable energy systems and digital construction practices.
• Proficient with QA/QC software tools and reporting systems.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
