Job Description :

What will you do?

  • Lead and maintain plant wide quality assurance, process support, regulatory compliance and provide customers with technical service.
  • Be the site's ISO 9001:2015 and Food/Feed safety champion.
  • Manage laboratory functions to maximize operating efficiency, productivity, accuracy, and orderly documentation. Promote continuous improvement throughout these processes.
  • Responsible for process support including analytical development and troubleshooting. Provide analytical and technical support to production units, evaluating process techniques and procedural alternatives as needed.
  • Support/develop analytical methods and instrumentation including but not limited to: ICP-MS, gas chromatography, infrared spectroscopy, and high-performance liquid chromatography.
  • Ensure company compliance with applicable certification standards and regulatory requirements: ISO 9001:2015, FSSC 22000, GMP+FSA, FDA regulations.
  • Manage & deliver on agreed annual quality objectives program & quality targets.
  • Prove supervisory direction of assigned personnel, including salary administration and performance appraisal.
  • Professional development of personal skills and of direct reports.
  • Define and implement hygiene, GMP, and compliance standards, as per the client and customer standards.
  • Address quality issues by implementing rigorous root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Develop effective relations with customers and other external agencies as required and manage audits.
  • Manage Quality Systems & Standards Compliance to HACCP, applicable Global Standards, Regulatory Agencies and Accreditation Bodies.

What will you need to be successful?

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Pharmaceutical, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of quality management experience in a chemical, specialty chemical or pharmaceutical environment.
  • Proven experience working with FSSC 22000 and ISO 9001:2015 regulations.
  • Demonstrated experience in analytical chemistry and trace analysis. Chemical processes is a plus.
  • Leadership and people management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SAP (nice to have).
