Primary Responsibilities
- Define responsibilities and assign tasks to QA/QC personnel.
- Prepare and submit quality status and management review reports to the Director of Quality.
- Oversee document control activities to maintain compliance.
- Conduct internal audits of the Quality Management System.
- Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) activities.
- Ensure compliance with UL 1316 standards and internal FGS procedures.
- Collaborate with plant engineering and production teams on continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage Management of Change (MOC) and Risk Assessment activities.
Job Duties
- Support quality assurance programs to meet regulatory and company standards.
- Analyze and interpret data to ensure product quality and process improvement.
- Operate measurement tools such as scales, OD tape, rulers, and thread height gauges.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and assembly instructions.
- Work in a factory environment with varying temperatures and physical demands.
- Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, pushing/pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs. for up to 12 hours daily.
- Maintain safety and compliance in a fast-paced, team-oriented work setting.
- Follow technical repair and assembly guidelines as needed.
Education and Qualifications
- Associate's Degree required; Bachelors Degree is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of QA/QC experience, including 3 years in a supervisory role.
- In lieu of QA/QC experience, 10 years of relevant manufacturing experience will be considered.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
- Must pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong mathematical aptitude required.
- Experience in ISO, API, ASME, or similar certified environments preferred.
- Training in ISO 9001 is a plus.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
Pay Range
- $78,000-$84,000 annual salary
