Massie Manufacturing, Inc., a state-of-the-art welding and fabrication specialist, seeks a Quality Manager to join their team in Baraga, Michigan. What We Offer:
- $70,000 – $90,000 annually based on education and experience.

What You'll Do:
- Create and maintain quality control processes across all stages of production.
- Lead audits, training sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Investigate non-conformances and drive them to resolution based on root cause.
- Manage ISO registration activities and all related documentation.
- Collaborate with production, supply chain, and management to keep quality systems effective and efficient.
- Support incoming, in-process, and final inspections, along with tool calibration and tracking.
- Provide process-level training to ensure staff awareness and audit readiness.
- Participate in weekly production meetings to prioritize improvements and manage rework.
- Serve as point of contact for quality documentation, including material certs, inspection reports, and control plans.
- Work closely with customers to provide the quality system and process documentation they need to confidently assess our capabilities.
- Monitor incoming material quality and conduct supplier evaluations.
What We're Looking For:
- A degree in a relevant technical or engineering field is preferred, but equivalent hands-on experience in quality, engineering, or manufacturing leadership will also be considered. Six Sigma, or other quality certifications are a strong plus.
- You have a positive attitude, a hands-on work style, and take pride in being organized, dependable, and dedicated.
- You're a team player with a “let's figure it out” mindset and a genuine desire to help customers.
- You bring experience working with ISO or similar quality management systems in a manufacturing environment, including process development and compliance.
- You can read and understand blueprints and manufacturing instructions with confidence.
- You're comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Word, and other general office software.
- You manage your time well, stay cool under pressure, and meet deadlines without sacrificing quality.
- You have a sharp eye for detail and enjoy solving problems with a thoughtful, analytical approach.
- You communicate clearly and professionally with both coworkers and customers—and you know how to provide top-notch service.
