Quality Manager - DSJ Global : Job Details

DSJ Global is partnered with a leading manufacturer in the Chemical industry. This company contributes to making chemicals to are used in semiconductor manufacturing. They are looking to add a Quality Manager to their team in the Rhode Island area. This role will primarily be responsible for leading and executing the quality manufacturing process of the chemicals.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overseeing the quality program in order to meet customer needs
• Serves as a resources for identifying issues, problem solving, and continuous improvement
• Monitors vendor quality performance and drives vendor quality improvements
• Participates in both internal and external audits
• Reviews contracts, change requests, and customer purchase orders ensuring all the necessary criteria are met
• Reports any quality issues to the Operations Director and senior management
• Preform root-cause analysis and identify the most effective corrective actions and improvements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in chemical engineering or related field
• 10 years of Quality Assurance experience
• 5 + years of experience in the chemical industry
• 5 + years of manufacturing experience
• Background in batch processing and SPC
• Six Sigma certification preferred
