Job Description :

As a Quality Lab Operations Leader working onsite in Delaware, OH, you will be responsible for a variety of laboratory operations in quality control and research settings. In the QC team, you will manage a team of technicians in sample validation, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement. Reporting directly to the QC Lab Manager, you will serve as a role model, facilitate technicians, and drive strategic plans at the laboratory level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute daily allocation of resources among the QC team.
  • Drive team performance and develop accountability mechanisms to support feedback.
  • Identify support requirements for multiple departments and help achieve strategic goals.
  • Facilitate and support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities.
  • Identify and scope process improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with other QC lab supervisors to scope opportunities across different work areas.
  • Lead daily meetings with technicians.
  • Support technicians' needs and manage physical resources of the lab.
  • Understand and maintain Delaware's Quality Management System requirements.
  • Maintain personal and team development plans.
  • Contribute to departmental action items as assigned.
  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Chemical Engineering.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in a laboratory setting.
  • Experience in people leadership is required.
  • Willing to work additional overtime as needed.
  • Experience leading a team.
  • Strong understanding of ISO and IATF quality management systems is required.
