Job Type Full-timeDescriptionNow Hiring: Quality Inspectors - Aerospace ManufacturingAre you an experienced Quality Inspector looking to advance your career in a high-precision aerospace machine shop? Join a team committed to product integrity, process excellence, and safety in a fast-paced, technical environment.We are seeking mid to advanced-level Inspectors with a strong background in machined metal parts-not plastics, not medical-and a solid understanding of AS9100, GD&T, and aerospace quality standards.Duties/Responsibilities (Depending on experience) :Perform in-process, first-article (AS9102), and final inspections of precision-machined aerospace components. Use inspection tools including micrometers, calipers, thread gauges, height gauges, and advanced tools such as CMMs, profilometers, and optical comparators. Interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings using advanced GD&T per ANSI Y14.5. Record results in MRP/ERP systems, assist with non-conformance reports (NCR), and support root cause analysis and CAPA activities. Lead or mentor junior inspectors and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with AS9100, ITAR, and internal quality systems. Support receiving inspections and traceability verification of raw materials and outside-processed parts.Must adhere to FOD prevention, PPE usage, and cleanroom protocols where applicable. Requirements Minimum 3 years of experience inspecting machined aerospace or military parts Proficiency in GD&T, dimensional inspection, and visual inspection of machined metal components Strong knowledge of AS9100, AS9102, and ANSI Y14.5 standards Experience with CMM programming (PC-DMIS) is a plus! Ability to work independently, manage complex inspection tasks, and communicate effectively in English Familiarity with 1factory, FileMaker, or similar QMS/MRP systems Shop math and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and in a teamMust pass annual visual acuity and color perception test in accordance with NDT standards.Dependable and committed to qualityShifts:Full-time: Mon-Fri, 7:00am-3:30pm or 7:00am-4:30pm (every other Friday off)Pay:$22.50-$39.50 per hour (I, II, & III)Benefits:Medical, dental, vision, life insuranceDisability, vacation, sick pay401kPhysical Demands: Work is primarily performed in an open warehouse environment with exposure to temperature changes, noise, vibrations, fumes, and chemicals.Frequent repetitive use of wrists, hands, and fingers.Extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, and bending.Occasional reaching, twisting, and turning.Regularly lift, carry, push, or pull up to 20 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs.ITAR Requirement: This position requires the use of information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
