We have an opportunity for a Quality Inspector to join our team in Centennial, CO! Under minimal supervision, this position is responsible for inspecting a wide variety of parts, assemblies, tooling fixtures, and materials to ensure compliance with customer requirements, company specifications, and quality standards. The role involves setting up, operating, inspecting, testing, and adjusting tools, dies, gauges, jigs, and fixtures for conformance to engineering drawings and specifications. It also includes maintaining reports, records, and statistics, and possibly conducting inspections at customer or vendor sites. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Inspect machined parts, components, assemblies, and materials to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines (Military Standards, ASTM, ANSI, ASME).
  • Set up and calibrate measuring and test equipment, and maintain calibration databases.
  • Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) using methods like radiography, helium leak testing, and ultrasonic testing.
  • Observe testing and provide oversight to verify compliance.
  • Interact with regulatory agencies and customers during audits.
  • Monitor and verify quality using statistical process control or other procedures.
  • Coordinate procurement of materials and parts for inspections.
  • Observe all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Work safely according to established procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

  • Typically requires an associate's degree, trade certification, military training, or equivalent in quality inspections, plus five or more years of experience in electrical, mechanical, electromechanical, or metrology inspection and calibration. Experience may substitute formal education.
  • Must possess:
    • Ability to read GD&T, engineering drawings, and perform mathematical computations.
    • Effective communication skills.
    • Ability to interpret complex information and respond independently.
    • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.
    • Understanding of IPC procedures (610, 620, J-STD, space addendums).
  • Ability to work independently or lead, and work extended hours if needed.
  • Comfort working in cleanrooms, heights, high voltage, or radioactive environments.
  • Experience with ISO 9001, AS9100, DOE quality programs, and nuclear materials is desirable.

Salary range: $65,410 - $99,888
