Job DetailsLevel Entry Job Location Hanover, PA Job Shift Graveyard Description The QA Inspector C helps ensure product quality, sanitation, and food safety throughout the plant and/or Grading Room. This role involves hands-on inspection, sample collection, and reporting to support high standards of food quality and workplace cleanliness. Responsibilities:
  • Inspect finished products for quality and packaging integrity, and record and report any findings.
  • Work cooperatively with USDA Inspectors, Production, and Warehousing personnel.
  • Observe and report sanitation effectiveness in manufacturing areas
  • Collect product samples during production and maintain accurate records of them.
  • Perform can seam tear downs, water chlorination checks, and raw product grading.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards in the Grading Room
  • Complete other related assignments as directed by QA leadership
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as QA preferred but not required.
  • Experience in food processing or quality assurance is a plus.
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Physical Environmental Requirements
  • Standing, walking, and handling are all constant activities.
  • Lifting/carrying up to 20 lbs and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Exposure to extreme heat/cold and loud noises.
  • Must be able to work safely and follow all safety-sensitive requirements.
  • PPE is required.
