As a Quality Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring all aerospace components and products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. You will perform meticulous inspections at various stages of production, from raw materials to finished goods, using a variety of tools and techniques. Proficiency in using a wide range of inspection tools and equipment. Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Experience with tool and equipment calibration processes. Knowledge of industry quality standards, such as AS9100, ISO 9001, or other relevant aerospace quality management systems. salary: $46,000 - $54,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 4 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilitiesey Responsibilities Conduct in-process and final inspections of aerospace components, assemblies, and systems. Utilize precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) to verify part dimensions against engineering drawings and specifications. Perform routine calibration and maintenance on inspection tools and equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability. Interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical documents to ensure compliance with design requirements. Identify and document non-conformances, defects, or deviations from quality standards. Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
