Job DescriptionPosition Overview: Inspects manufactured goods, ensuring quality and accuracy using established criteria. Completes, creates, and manages quality records. Works in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities:
- Performs basic quality inspections using checklists with pre-determined acceptance criteria
- Complete and maintain inspection and test records
- Documents non-conformances and communicates issues to production personnel
- Maintain workspace in accordance with company standards
- And other requested duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-2 years of previous employment preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Relevant experience includes inspection of fabricated goods, electromechanical assembly, fabrication, welding, machining, application or inspection of paint and coatings
- Must be able to read blueprints and technical documentation
- Able to use basic measuring and test equipment such as tape measure, caliper, dry film thickness gage, thread gages, multi-meter, etc.
- Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for the majority of the workday.
- Ability to move 50 lbs.
