QualificationsPay Range $20 to $23(DOE)Tasks and Work Activities Do periodic measurements on parts per drawing requirements.Verify that raw materials, purchased parts or components, in-process inspections, and finished products meet established testing and inspection standards.Review quality documentation necessary for regulatory submissions and inspections.Read and interpret detailed technical drawings and specifications.Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced.Measure products with rulers, calipers, micrometers or other gauges as neededCheck products by sight, sound, or feel to locate imperfections such as cuts, scratches, missing pieces, or crooked seams.Perform regular checks on a measuring tool for calibration accuracy. Perform administrative duties such as analyzing, processing, documenting, and recording data or information. Communicating with supervisors, peers, or subordinates or with people outside the organization as neededRequirements and EducationThis position reports directly to the Quality and EHS Manager. This position is considered regular, full-time, and requires a minimum of 40 hours per week. Confidentiality, integrity, dependability, and cooperation.Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.Must agree to (and pass) a background check, physical, and drug screening testing.High School Diploma or equivalent.Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) experience a plus)Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Refer to the Employee Handbook for PPE requirements. AVC may release additional PPE requirements or policy based on unforeseen causes. Traveling employees must also comply with the AVC Travel Handbook. Must have hands on experience in quality assurance process specific to metal manufacturing.
