Job Summary:

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Inspecting and testing incoming materials to ensure quality of items
  • Documenting and analyzing the conformity of product to required specifications
  • Using gauges such as micrometer, plug gauges and CMM to measure products
  • Managing calibration schedules for gauges and equipment
  • Managing Preventative Maintenance (PM) schedules and assisting in maintenance
  • Cooperating with manufacturing to prevent non-conforming product and continuously improve processes
  • Reading blueprints and specifications to ensure that operations meet production standards
  • Accepting or rejecting finished products and discussing inspection results with the production team, recommending strategies to improve product quality
  • Perform inspections at random to assess product quality
  • All other related duties as required

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • A two-year Associate's degree, or a Bachelor's degree is
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and/or AS9100 Quality Management Systems
  • Experience with Measuring and Testing Equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret part drawings, product specifications, and other related documentation to product inspection
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience
