Come and experience your future\!To inspect: irregularly shaped sheet metal andextruded parts, moderately complex tools, dies, jigs,and fixtures, castings, forgings, machined parts andwelded assemblies, major assemblies, details,subsystems, metallic and non\-metallic raw materials,manufactured units, assemblies and parts, glass,plastics, solutions and other similar items and the likefor conformance to specifications and workmanshipstandards\.To inspect all incoming and outgoing material,details, assemblies and other products componentsor products, prior to shipment, for damage, forcompleteness, for proper packing and forconformance to shipping papers\.The Lockheed Martin Baltimore site has been selected for closure \(currently set for mid\-2023\.\) As a result, this position is impacted and will only exist from now through plant closure\.**Basic Qualifications:**Ability to use and read complicated drawings and specifications\.Ability to use a variety of precision instruments such assurface gauge, micrometer protractor, calipers, levels, transits, etc\.; advanced shop mathematics and goodknowledge of aluminum alloys and their workingproperties\. Knowledge of metallurgy\.Requires the ability to plan and perform unusual and difficult inspections where only general operational methods are available\.Ability to measure contours, calculate locations and contour lines, read complicated drawings, detect improperly usedmaterials, accept or reject parts that fail to conform to engineering tolerances\.
