Raycap, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Quality Inspector. In this role, the Quality Inspector inspects components, sub-assemblies, and finished products received and/or built internally. This position works with Quality Management to implement the proper sampling plans based on component specifications, inspection plans, or customer supplied requirements and to provide guidance on required quality tools, methods, and data to assure that shipped product fulfills all customer specifications and quality requirements. This position monitors and maintains Raycap quality processes to assure continual 100% customer satisfaction. Shift: Monday - Friday (2:30 pm - 11:00 pm) with overtime as required. Primary Job ResponsibilitiesCollects quality data as required to derive quality objectivesExecutes and maintains comprehensive quality product inspectionsServes as a manufacturing focal point for intelligent analysis of quality issues determining true root causes and implementation of permanent corrective and preventive actionsFollows and promotes the use of and implementation of internal quality standards and proceduresReviews documentation for compliance to quality standardsInspects First Articles, incoming components, raw materials, fabricated parts, and in-process assemblies and subassemblies products per Inspection Plans and Specification RequirementsConducts subassembly tests as required to ensure quality productsUses measuring equipment such as calipers and gaugesAudits and monitors quality requirements in accordance with the company quality assurance policies and customer specificationsDocuments and reports inspection findings, results and monitors corrective actions to inspection findingsRegular adherence to performance of applicable procedures in the Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management (EMS), and Occupational Health & Safety standards (OHSAS); ensuring processes remain sustainable, suitable and effective in relation to positionContinuous assessment of opportunities for improvement and any needed changes to management systemsQualificationsHands-on quality and manufacturing experience in an ISO certified environment.Proficient in MS Office, Access, Outlook and Adobe programsExperience with Document Control softwareFamiliarity with SAP, ISO-9001, knowledge and application of DFx, FMEA or similar Quality Systems is a plusWho We Are Raycap, Inc. creates products that protect and support the world's most valuable assets.
