Responsible for producing quality workmanship, which meets or exceeds requirements. Responsible for final inspection of production parts. Adhere to AS9100 quality system. Authority to drive company forklifts and operate production equipment when trained. Responsible for routine maintenance as directed.Work safely and ensure hazardous conditions are eliminated. Follow company safety procedures.Ensure the highest quality standards are met with all work done.Ensure that AS9100 quality system procedures are followed.Ensure output meets the required deadlines while executing above.Act as a liaison between Quality and Production departments. Ensure cross departmental communication is accurate and effective.Final inspection and packaging of parts prior to delivery to customer.Complete daily, weekly and monthly checklists on designated equipment maintenance procedures and maintain records.Prepare and requisition supply items when directed by supervisor.Accurately maintain MES system as instructed.Arrive to work in a punctual manner and be willing to work overtime when needed.Assist in monthly inventory process.Maintain neat and clean work area.Other ad hoc duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesMust be able to visually inspect parts with high attention to detail.Ability to read and understand blueprints.Understand general manufacturing processes and how they contribute to overall part quality.Possess basic math skills including ability to read and use measure equipment such as tape measure, caliper and micrometer to the fraction and decimal.Ability to operate CMM and FabRevision with supervisionGeneral knowledge to perform routine and preventative maintenance and upkeep of designated equipment and instruments used.Basic computer skills.Ability to perform receiving inspector job duties.Education and ExperienceThree years of experience in a similar functionLatitude Corp. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
