Quality Engineer level 1 or 2 - Woodward : Job Details

Accountable for ensuring the robustness of root cause analysis and problem solving utilizing Six Sigma methodology and Woodward Quality Management System processes. Drives continuous improvement across the operation (i.e. defines improvement goals, establishes accountability through SQDRC metrics, uses Lean/ Six Sigma tools and techniques to continually improve processes and business results, and establishes a mindset within operations to document and control processes; promotes safety and housekeeping; uses facilitative leadership). Acts as the customer liaison/advocate for Woodward compliance to customer quality requirements and customer satisfaction relative to quality of products and services. May be accountable for customer accounts, along with resolving complex issues. Drives resolution to systemic issues within the organization.
