EBAD is seeking a Quality Engineer Lead with leadership experience in aerospace and defense manufacturing. The role reports directly to the Value Stream Manager.

• Lead the Quality team for specific product families, supervising Quality Engineers and Technicians.
• Set goals and conduct performance reviews for team members.
• Distribute workload and support safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
• Implement quality initiatives and maintain the Quality Management System.
• Track NCR, CAPA, and COPQ performance metrics.
• Support programs from proposal to shipment, ensuring customer requirements and cost/delivery targets are met.
• Assist during customer and internal audits, and lead root cause analysis.
• Participate in new product development and review product drawings.
• Maintain product First Article status per customer and AS9102 standards.
• Use Lean tools to improve quality and reduce defects.
• Coordinate with various personnel including technicians, engineers, and suppliers.
• Manage and develop team capabilities.

Ideal candidates will have:

• At least 5 years of quality and manufacturing experience.
• Experience interpreting customer specifications and creating quality plans.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001/AS 9100 systems.
• Root cause analysis and CAPA experience.
• Problem-solving skills with Six Sigma, Lean, or Continuous Improvement.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to obtain DoD security clearance for working on sensitive products.

• Six Sigma Black or Green Belt certification.
• Experience with material review boards.
• Knowledge of satellite systems and manufacturing processes.

Salary range: $120,000 - $140,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
