Role- Quality Engineer
Location- Mossville, IL
Associate Service Engineer. This position supports Dealers through technical issues. Working with Service end Design Engineers to research and provide documentation on electronics systems issues. Working with Dealers through ticketing and teleconferencing. This position will work as an associate service engineer, assisting service engineers with projects and providing support for products under the mentorship of an experienced engineer.
Typical work includes interfacing with Dealers through a ticket system and through email and phone calls. This position regularly interfaces with other service engineers and system and component engineers to identify issues and find resolutions. This position may travel to Caterpillar proving grounds and customer sites to assist in investigation of issues
Education & Experience Required:
(Required) - Required: *5+ years Troubleshooting/support skills - Exp and familiarity with electronic and electrical systems - Heavy equipment maintenance or equivalent (auto, etc)
(Desired) - Dealer Experience - OEM
