The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of quality control, ensuring that our engineering processes and outputs meet the highest standards of quality. • Develop, implement, and manage quality control systems designed to ensure continuous production of advanced composite materials and applications, consistent with established standards, customer specifications, and production goals.
• Supervise and mentor a team of quality control engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and mutual respect.
• Lead the investigation of any quality issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective corrective and preventive measures.
• Oversee the inspection of incoming and outgoing materials for quality, utilizing gauge reliability techniques.
• Coordinate with the engineering team to establish quality requirements from external suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with national and international standards and legislation.
• Conduct regular audits of the quality control systems, reporting findings to senior management and recommending improvements.
• Participate in the review of engineering designs to contribute quality requirements and considerations.
• Assist in the preparation of technical and contract documentation for the engineering projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a quality role within the engineering industry.
• Proven experience with gauge reliability and other quality control methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance terminologies, tools, and standards.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and strong decision-making skills.
• Detail-oriented with a dedication to the improvement of products and processes.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in using various software applications related to quality control and data analysis.
• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) would be considered an asset.
