Quality Engineer - OFS : Job Details

OFS is seeking a dedicated Quality Engineer to join our Quality team. This role will be responsible for assisting in troubleshooting issues with form, fit, and function of our various product lines in addition to providing quality assurance, support, and guidance to all manufacturing facilities, ensuring compliance with company quality standards. Roles and Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot the following areas:
  • Issues that arise during assembly of our product line
  • Problems the vendors and customers may experience
  • Issues with internally produced and incoming purchased parts
• Create and maintain process work instructions, standards, specifications, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) related to production processes and incoming materials.
• Collaborate with manufacturing plants to standardize production processes and proactively address quality concerns.

Preferred Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong mechanical knowledge and experience
• Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines
• Capability to read and interpret detailed technical drawings
• Background in Plastics Engineering is a plus
• Familiarity with Metal/Welding specifications is a plus

Previous Work Experience (Preferred but Not Required):

• Experience with Oracle systems.
• Understanding of Bills of Material (BOM)
• Background in Wood, Plastic, and Metal manufacturing
• Experience in Quality Assurance processes
