We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join a growing manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining product quality, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and supporting manufacturing processes through data analysis and quality assurance best practices.
Position ResponsibilitiesQuality Control and Assurance
- Develop and implement quality control plans and inspection criteria
- Perform root cause analysis and corrective action for quality issues
- Monitor product quality using statistical process controls and other quality tools
Process Improvement
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve manufacturing processes
- Support continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen events and lean manufacturing
- Assist in supplier quality evaluations and audits
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain quality documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Prepare and present quality reports and metrics for internal stakeholders
Prerequisites
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field
- 3-7 years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, root cause analysis, and SPC
- Proficiency with quality tools and software, such as Minitab or similar
Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or equivalent
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher
