Quality Engineer - New York Technology Partners : Job Details

Position Summary

The Quality Engineer works with engineering, manufacturing, and product management to provide professional quality guidance to assess, correct, and maintain the product quality.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Collaborate with customers to complete source inspections

INCR/NCR investigation

Complete analysis on incoming products and approve all product receipts

Inspect and test materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met

First line escalation for problem parts

Create bubble prints for new jobs

Compile inspection reports per operation

Create gage box requirements including specification and ordering of gages

Identify customer flow down requirements

Review and compare quality plans

Collaborate with operation managers to develop and improve process controls

Develop corrective actions, solutions, and improvements

Qualification Requirements:

Bachelor s degree in Engineering preferred

Extensive experience in a quality assurance environment required typically 5 years of more

High proficiency in computer technology and systems operations

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with an attention to detail

GD&T background required

Previous manufacturing experience preferred, especially in machining
