From components to fully integrated equipment, we provide purpose-built solutions that integrate seamlessly into larger facility design-build, expansion, and retrofit projects.The Specialty Equipment segment includes Anderson Dahlen, located in Ramsey, MN and Waconia, MN, and AD Process Equipment, located in Naperville, IL. Anderson Dahlen specializes in stainless steel and specialty alloy fabrication and is ISO 9001:2015 certified, as well as ASME, AWS, and PED compliant. AD Process Equipment features a dedicated control panel fabrication shop, in-house engineering capabilities, and manufacturing space to support customized process system solutions.The wage range for this role takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; as well as other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $77000.00 to $115000.00/annually .PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION:Communicate with customers and suppliers regarding product quality issues, develop and document Policies, Procedures, and Work Instructions. Facilitate development of procedures and processes, facilitate customer SCAR's and CAPA's, develop improvement plans based on data collected. Provides statistical information for quality improvement by identifying testing methods and samples.MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:* Lead QA efforts in customer facing issues and projects.* Perform supplier audits in accordance with QMS.* Execute improvement plans based on customer surveys and SCAR/CAPA* Work with internal teams to drive operational improvements.* Collaborate with team members in writing process work instructions.* Assist in managing calibration program.* Follow all company safety protocols.* Monitor the entire production cycle and perform regular tests to identify potential defects as early as possible.* Inspect product materials and electrical systems for defects and durability.* Identify the root cause of technical issues and recommend fixes.* Prepare reports on malfunctions and corrective actions (e.g., number of defective raw materials per order)* Set and track quality assurance goals (e.g., reduce average turnaround time for quality checks by 20%)* Coordinate with external quality assurance auditors and technicians to ensure compliance.* Work with internal teams to increase customer satisfaction by improving the quality of the products.* Other duties as assigned.Requirements:QUALIFICATIONS FOR ENTRY:* Previous work experience as a Quality Engineer or similar role* Hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS)* Good understanding of technical writing and documentation* Good interpersonal skills* Familiarity with statistical analysis* Great attention to detail and problem-solving abilities* Good analytical skills* Bachelor's degree in ME or IE or equivalent work experience* Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles or process improvement* Additional certification in Quality Assurance is a plus.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:The company fosters a manufacturing-type environment.
