The ideal candidate will be a Lean Six Sigma advocate supporting global quality operational excellence and digitization initiatives that increase efficiency and enhance quality. The role involves driving a proactive quality approach across Tier 1 suppliers, focusing on reducing product and process variation and achieving zero quality issues using Lean Six Sigma, Industry 4.0, and Operational Excellence frameworks within a Tier 1 extended team model.

Responsibilities:

• Possession of industry certifications, advanced problem-solving skills, and Six Sigma Black Belt recognition are a plus.
• Familiarity with Python, Power BI, Microsoft Office tools, JIRA, Agile, SharePoint, and related systems.
• Strong knowledge of IoT, Lean Six Sigma, Industry 4.0, GenAI, automation, and manufacturing technologies to drive world-class quality performance at Tier 1 suppliers.
• Design and monitor business and operational processes to support quality metrics and continuous improvement opportunities.
• Act as an advisor to less senior technicians, engineers, and suppliers in operational excellence initiatives.
• Complete audit or Lean Six Sigma training as required.
• Collect and analyze data, understand key quality metrics, and present data visually to facilitate decision-making. Create ad hoc reports to represent business outcomes and recommend standard reports based on data trends. Summarize and present defect and process improvement data to management, including senior leaders. Mentor technicians and engineers in training and review presentations.
• Participate in project teams, potentially leading projects of significant scope and impact. Act as the primary contact for organizational projects.
• Assist in developing accurate schedules and provide input on budget considerations.
• Resolve complex problems by developing and implementing procedures and processes.
• Network with key contacts outside own area of expertise and coordinate with management and external stakeholders across organizational boundaries.
• Demonstrate advanced understanding of Lean Six Sigma, IoT, Industry 4.0, focusing on proactive quality improvements at Tier 1 suppliers.
• Perform data analysis and create visualizations using Python or Power BI, integrating data from Jira, Agile, and SharePoint for reporting purposes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• 8-12 years of relevant experience.
• Formal education and training in quality disciplines required.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of job-related and corporate policies and procedures.
• Six Sigma certification or similar training strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in computer skills and software tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
