This posting is for a contract assignment and is not a full-time employment offer with Boeing. Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing approved 3rd party for the duration of the specified project. Leads integration of contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation. Provides interpretation of complex requirements. Develops quality metrics, design and production certification plans for large programs to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements. Develops Quality criteria to support supplier selection activities. Leads various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs. Develops and selects methods for analysis, testing and audit to ensure manufacturing and test readiness. Assists in development of new standards repairs for non-conformances. Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions. Develops and implements corrective actions. Performs benchmarking and other forms of advanced analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved. Works under minimal direction. Day to day: This candidate will be the project lead for multiple projects in supplier quality. They will be managing projects, working on maintenance issues with suppliers, working with construction teams, attending meetings, reporting project statuses, etc. Top Must Haves: 1. Bachelor's degree in a technical, engineering, or STEM field from ABET accredited institution3+ years of experience working with Quality and/or Safety Corrective Action/Preventive Action, Root Cause Analysis 2. 3+ years of experience with ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications 3. Experience with Advanced Product Quality Planning and Production Part Approval Process Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): - Bachelor's degree in a technical, engineering, or STEM field from ABET accredited institution - 3+ years of experience working in a quality job role - 3+ years of experience working with Quality Standards such as ISO9001, AS9100, ISO1400 - 3+ years of experience with ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint/schematic reading, Boeing specifications (BAC), change, design) - 3+ years of experience collecting, organizing, and analyzing data; summarizing findings; developing conclusions - 3+ years of experience working with Quality and/or Safety Corrective Action/Preventive Action, Root Cause Analysis - Strong written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): - 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience - Experience in the aerospace industry - Experience with risk assessment methodologies and experience in supplier audits (e.g., FMEA, system, product, and process audit assessment) - Experience, and at least considered an intermediate user, with office tools such Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) - Experience with utilizing analytic skills: collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources - Experience in various quality tools and processes such as inspection plans, control plans, and measurement system analysis (MSA) - Experience with Statistical Product Acceptance and review of supplier statistical plans - Experience with Engineering Process Improvement Methods: knowledge of producibility and process improvement methodologies (e.g., statistical process control (SPC), 6-Sigma) - Experience leading cross-functional teams - Ability to present technical findings to various levels of leadership
