Quality Control SpecialistCompetition Subaru is seeking an experienced automotive professional to join our team as a Quality Control Inspector. This role is responsible formaintaining and improving our existing quality standards by performing consistent, random inspections of completed repair orders and serviced vehicles. The goal is to ensure the highest level of workmanship, accuracy, and customer satisfaction before the vehicle is returned to the customer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform quality checks on vehicles after maintenance or repairs are completed, verifying work meets established standards.
- Conduct random sampling of completed repair orders to confirm proper documentation, accurate concern/cause/correction, and adherence to manufacturer guidelines.
- Identify any deficiencies or incomplete work, document findings, and communicate with service management for corrective action.
- Report directly to and provide feedback / recommendations to the service manager to improve repair quality and service processes.
- Support the shop's commitment to delivering top-tier customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Former automotive technician or service professional strongly preferred. Subaru brand experience is a plus.
- Solid understanding of vehicle systems, diagnostic principles, and repair procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and maintain objectivity in evaluations.
- Clear communication skills for reporting findings and making recommendations.
Work Schedule & Status:
- Full-time or part-time available.
- Flexible scheduling may be considered for the right candidate.
Compensation details: 20-25 Hourly Wage
