Quality Control Manager
Responsibilities:
Oversee the inspection of electronic and mechanical components and materials.Maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards.Lead internal and external audits, including customer, ISO/AS, and regulatory audits.Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure quality is integrated throughout the product lifecycle.Participate in hands-on inspection and testing of incoming materials, in-process components, and final products.Manage and analyze quality metrics, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective/preventive actions (CAPAs).Drive root cause analysis and implement effective solutions to prevent recurrence.Train and mentor staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.Serve as the primary liaison for quality-related customer communications and issue resolution.Qualifications/Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.At least 5 years of experience in quality assurance/control in a manufacturing environment, preferably in defense, aerospace, or electronics.Hands-on experience with AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards.Extensive understanding of electronics and debugging procedures.Experience with diagnostic equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.Proficient in QMS and MS Suite.Must be a US citizen.Benefits include a competitive salary, paid time off, sick days, Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage with employer contributions, 401(k) plan, Life insurance, Short Term and Long-Term disability, and supplemental life insurance for employees and dependents.
