Burgos Group is currently seeking a Construction Quality Control Manager to work on a Federal heavy civil engineering project at Fort Johnson, LA. The incumbent will ensure that our services meet all necessary client requirements. Travel expenses will be reimbursed.

Responsibilities

· Continuously review quality control processes, procedures and capabilities in order to sustain the most cost effective and efficient methods for meeting quality requirements.

· Make recommendations for improvement as appropriate.

· Review client QC requirements and ensure that quality control documentation for the project meets contractual requirements;

· Review and approve Contractor and sub-contractor quality control documentation to ensure their planned activities meet contractual requirements.

· Understand client needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes.

· Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis.

· Submit detailed reports to appropriate executives.

· Be on the lookout for opportunities for improvement and develop new efficient procedures requirements.

Requirements

· Proven experience as Construction Quality Control Manager.

· Must be conscientious and responsible.

· Must have a keen eye for detail with a result-driven approach.

· Requires outstanding communication skills, including excellent organizational and leadership skills.

· Proficient in MS Office.

· In depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards.

· A graduate engineer, graduate architect, or a graduate of construction management, with a minimum of five years construction quality control or a minimum of ten years construction experience, of which a minimum of five years' experience must be in construction quality control on construction.· 1 year experience with RMS.· Must be able to pass a Federal background check.
