Job Description :

Seeking a Quality Control Inspector to support with supplier quality initiatives. The ideal candidate upholds the highest standards of quality and safety in our manufacturing processes, and will play a pivotal role in ensuring supplier compliance with product specifications and drawings. As a Quality Control Inspector, you employ various tools and equipment to measure the dimensions and features of our incoming materials. You then compare the results to the established data packages, and complete reports describing nonconforming materials as they are discovered. You may be required to present nonconformances to the material review board or support other initiatives concerning supplier quality, such as SCARs, on-site material inspection, or supplier audits. Compensation: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year, commensurate with experience. Location: Stafford VA 22554 Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8AM-5:00PM Responsibilities:

  • Support the quality team in maintaining quality control
systems and procedures.
  • Perform thorough inspections of electro-mechanical parts and assemblies, printed circuit board assemblies, cable assemblies, machined parts and assemblies, and composite materials to verify conformance to drawings, specifications and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality control activities, including detailed documentation of non-conformances and corrective actions taken.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality
of incoming materials and components.Qualifications:
  • Relevant Technical diploma or Associate's degree. Experience with hands-on inspection utilizing metrology equipment is highly desirable and will be considered in lieu of a diploma or degree.
  • Experience with the quality control of electro-mechanical parts and assemblies, including printed circuit board assemblies, cable assemblies, machined parts and assemblies, and/or composite materials is highly desirable.
  • Functional knowledge of GD&T and the ability to interpret engineering drawings.
  • Good communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality and safety in aerospace manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with various productivity software, such as Microsoft Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook, and Sharepoint, is a plus.
  • Familiarity with the aerospace industry and the demands of quality management systems (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing is a plus.
  • Ability to travel domestically approximately 10% of the time, to occasionally perform on-site supplier inspection.
  • Ability to commute to Stafford, VA, daily (on-site position).
