Quality Control Engineer - MasTec : Job Details

The Quality Engineer supports the project team from preconstruction planning through project completion. Reviews drawings and submittals with the project team for conformance with project requirements. Reviews test reports provided by the third-party testing firm to identify any errors, discrepancies, or deficiencies. Communicates regularly with Project Managers to provide quality control updates and advise of issues or problems that may affect progress. Develop site-specific quality procedures and review with Project Engineer as necessary to support the project requirements. Assist jobsite leadership with resolution of client complaints that are quality related. Order and receive needed project materials and equipment as advised. Coordinate and administer weekly quality meetings and/or identification of safety meeting elements relevant to quality. Monitor quality practices daily, along with ongoing inspections to minimize the need for corrections and punch-list items.
