Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Associate/Scientist with expertise in cell and molecular biology, particularly in iPSC technologies. This hands-on role offers exposure to a broad range of products and testing methodologies and is ideal for professionals looking to advance their career in the high-growth areas of personalized medicine, regenerative medicine, and cell and gene therapy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct QC testing on iXCells' products and deliverables in accordance with established protocols and project-specific Statement of Work (SOW).
  • Perform quality assessments of in-licensed and OEM products as needed.
  • Ensure all test data is accurate, complete, and compliant with GLP and internal standards.
  • Document and maintain records including notebooks, test logs, equipment records, and certificates of analysis (COAs).
  • Collaborate with QA, manufacturing, service, and sales teams to ensure timely testing and product release.
  • Support post-sale product and service transfer activities.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolving quality issues.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned to support the evolving needs of the organization.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree with 4+ years OR Master's degree with 2+ years in Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or related field.

Technical Expertise:

  • Hands-on experience culturing primary cells, iPSCs, and iPSC-derived cell types.
  • Proficient in immunostaining, flow cytometry, mycoplasma testing, and luminescence-based assays.
  • Familiarity with GLP standards and 2+ years of QC lab experience preferred.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong organizational, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with broad responsibilities.

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary Range: $65,000 – $85,000 annually (commensurate with experience)

Bonus Eligibility: Annual performance-based bonus
