Quality Assurance Tech - Performance Food Group Company : Job Details

Plans, coordinates, monitors, and directs quality control programs designed to ensure food safety consistent with established company and regulatory standards. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company. Position Responsibilities. Maintain and control an effective quality assurance program, including daily product testing and verification. Assist with the monthly self-audit of the operation to determine the level of compliance with the good manufacturing practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP), and company policies relating to food safety. Maintain and control effective quality assurance/food safety procedures and practices. Ensure overall compliance with government food regulatory agencies and other applicable regulations, including state-specific regulatory programs.
