VideosDuties - Test Coordinator over assigned testing activities, determining testing priority and financial coordination of test requests from Product Specialists and Headquarters.
- Assign the appropriate test and test requirements, select testing location/laboratory, and schedules with the Laboratory Specialist to execute testing.
- Manage relationships with laboratories and monitor test results from Laboratory Specialists.
- Ensure tests are completed, laboratory performance is satisfactory, and verify contracts are followed.
- Monitor the laboratory test program by determining the appropriate test criteria, directing and monitoring laboratory testing activities, and communicate results to the requester.
- Responsible for the most complex, difficult, and unusual types of testing which regularly involve application of novel or unique testing approaches due to lack of adequate testing precedents.

Qualifications To qualify for a Quality Assurance Specialist, your resume and supporting documentation must support: A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
- Develops detailed plans, procedures, and technical requirements for controlling tests and evaluation programs.
- Assigning appropriate test and test requirements, reviewing test plans, and analyzing unusual conditions.
- Comprehensive and thorough knowledge of the full range of principles, concepts, and methodology related to quality assurance related product testing activities.
- Oversees the compliance of product testing activities performed by internal, military service, and commercial test laboratories.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
