Quality Assurance Manager - Brooklyn Hospital Center : Job Details

The Laboratory Quality Systems Manager is responsible for the development, administration and implementation of the quality systems for the Laboratory Department, which includes all quality control, quality assurance and quality improvement activities. In cooperation with the Section Supervisors, Managers, Administrative Director and physician leadership, ensures that the Laboratory Department is compliant with all Federal, State, and Regulatory Body quality requirements. Ensures that the Laboratory is survey ready at all times. Bachelors Degree in Healthcare related field or equivalent education. Masters Degree PREFERRED Minimum of five (5) years experience in a hospital clinical laboratory or blood bank setting, with at least two (2) years experience Quality Management experience preferred Must meet New York State Department of Health Personnel Standards as a Laboratory Supervisor.
