Interfaces and acts as a liaison between Manufacturing and Quality at the Divisional Level using multidisciplinary manufacturing knowledge. Communicates and resolves Quality related issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Supports the Quality and Manufacturing functions by educating employees on quality systems, quality metrics, and customer engineering. Develops and empowers Quality personnel while improving Manufacturing and Quality relationships. Is a leader within the department holding employees accountable for business ethics and daily performance.

• Oversee the Quality department to ensure delivery of high-quality products that meet customer needs.
• Provide training, learning, and development opportunities for all employees.
• Provide training as required in quality system concepts, audit techniques, approaches, corrective/preventative actions, and continuous improvement activities.
• Partner with other departments to ensure adherence to the Quality Management System and other compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with operations, leaders, purchasing, customer service, and others to efficiently meet customer demand.
• Maintain excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with internal and external customers.
• Support all regulatory and customer quality audits.
• Regularly inspect and evaluate products for quality and defects.
• Provide visibility to management of potential quality issues, as well as input on internal perceptions related to Quality and Delivery performance.
• Work with Manufacturing and Quality Assurance personnel to perform in-process reviews and ensure best practices are followed.
• Review organizational policies and procedures, ensuring accuracy and relevance, and communicate updates and changes.

• Hire and train front-line employees.
• Organize, direct, and oversee the schedules and work of front-line employees.
• Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations.
• Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
• Work with department leaders to monitor performance and recommend improvements.
