Quality Assurance InspectorBrinkman Precision, Inc., a well-established Rochester, NY based precision aerospace machining manufacturer is searching for a Quality Inspector on 1st shift.Job Summary:Quality assurance inspectors audit purchased and manufactured products, both in-process and final, to ensure they meet all standards of workmanship, dimensional quality and traceability.Functions:The full inspection process, including: First article, in process, Receiving and Final inspectionsKnowledgeable in SPC, as well as Gage R&R preferred, not requiredKnowledge of AS 9100, ISO 9001 documentation preferred, not requiredQualifications:High School diploma or GED equivalent with working experience in a tight tolerance machining environment preferred. Knowledge and the proper application of dimensional measurement tools such as micrometers, height gages, and optical comparators are required. Capable of interpreting dimensional prints and knowledge of GD&T.
