Join us to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact as a Quality Assurance Engineer on our Global Operations Quality team, in Austin, Texas What youll achieve As a Quality Assurance Engineer, youll interact cross-functionally with multiple areas such as Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Test Engineering, Supplier Quality Engineering and Logistics to protect the customer and elevate the performance of Dells manufacturing processes through the relentless application of continuous improvement methods. You will: Lead the Global Operations Quality efforts to develop and support data analytics and reporting projects Apply principles, theories and concepts to solve quality issues that help the customer and the business Work with and across teams to frame and analyze problems, generate and prioritize potential solutions, establish clear and effective action plans, drive closure of action plans and implement solutions that are effective and lasting Develop and drive continuous improvement efforts and preventative actions Contribute to the development of organization's goals and objectives Take the first step towards your dream career Every Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table. Heres what we are looking for with this role: Essential Requirements Relevant work experience in similar roles along with Program / Project Management expertise Demonstrated fluency with Excel and PowerPoint Ability or desire to learn Power BI, Structured programming languages (Python, C++, etc.) Automation experience and expertise Understanding of industry trends and practices with regards to quality management including Statistical Process Control (SPC), Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (FMEA), Problem Solving and Root Cause Analysis/Corrective and Preventative Actions (RCA/CAPA) Desirable Requirements Bachelors degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Data Analytics / Computer Science Compensation Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
