About the Role: In this role, you will collaborate closely with product and business teams to identify essential research topics. We employ various qualitative and quantitative research methods, such as:

  • Surveys
  • Focus Groups
  • Field Studies
  • Usability Tests
  • 1:1 Interviews

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify research topics by collaborating with product and business teams.
  • Serve as a thought leader in research, advocating for users of our products.
  • Design and execute comprehensive custom primary research using various methods.
  • Create studies addressing user behavior and attitudes.
  • Manage and prioritize research plans within ambiguous and rapidly changing environments, ensuring effective insights that align with stakeholders.
  • Communicate research findings creatively and compellingly.
  • Work cross-functionally with design, product management, content strategy, engineering, and marketing.
  • Generate insights that foster ideation and evaluate designs.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience in user experience or product research, or a Master's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience, or a PhD with relevant experience.
  • Experience conducting In-Depth Interviews, Focus Groups, Concept Testing, or Usability Testing.
  • Interest and hands-on experience in conducting primary research.
  • Ability to translate research findings into strategic narratives.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with consumer products, consumer insights, or product development.
  • Degrees in fields related to human behavior, such as Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Communication, Information Science, Media Studies, Computer Science, or Economics.

Compensation: $103,000/year to $163,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits.
