QC Inspector - $28.00 per hour - Champion Personnel System : Job Details

Job Title: Precision Parts InspectorHours & Location:

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• Location: Cleveland, OH (near Rocky River Dr.)

Pay & Benefits:

• Starting Pay: $27.00-$29.00/hr, based on experience
• Contract-to-Hire: Raise upon direct hire, with additional increases at 1-year and 2-year marks

Job Responsibilities:

• Inspect precision-machined components to ensure compliance with technical drawings and customer specifications
• Use micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and other measuring tools
• Conduct and document First Article Inspections
• Identify defects and collaborate with manufacturing teams to resolve issues
• Maintain and verify calibration of inspection equipment
• Work closely with Quality Assurance and Engineering to refine inspection processes
• Lift up to 50 lbs as needed

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing inspection role
• Strong blueprint and schematic reading skills
• Familiarity with various measurement tools and inspection techniques
• Solid math and communication skills
• Ability to multitask, stand for extended periods, and work overtime when needed
• Must be fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Pre-employment 5-panel drug screen and background check required
