QC Civil Engineer - Bohler : Job Details

Our Warrenton, VA office is looking for a QC Civil Engineer with exposure to civil engineering:

What You'll Do:

• Provide high-level strategy for unique design projects
• Internal Quality Assurance / Quality Control aspects during the project design andconstruction process:o Ensure compliance with all internal Quality Control processeso Completion of Quality Checklists for designo Review of all site safety design featureso Detailing consistencyo Constructability reviewo Assessment / improvement / maintenance of QA/QC procedure
• Construction Administration
• Assist design team in support of Construction Administration services for design projects
• Complies with all policies and standard
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You'll Need:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering preferred
• Experience in civil/site design including:o Extensive knowledge of site gradingo Storm water management designo Utility designo Commercial/Industrial design experienceo Subdivision designo Zoning research and analysiso Real world construction and problem solvingo Concept site layout
• Passion for design quality and desire to help produce the best design possible
• Attention to detail
• Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred
• 10 years + of residential and/or commercial/industrial site designskills preferred
