Position: QA Test Analyst III

Location: Rochester NY 14614 (Only Local)

Duration: 3-6 Months +

Rate: Open

Summary: Develop and execute software test plans to identify software problems and their causes. The technical skills include designing or customizing software for client use. Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or relevant field required. 8-10 years of experience required. The role involves exercising independent judgment with minimal supervision. Skills include strong communication, problem-solving, customer service, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently. Mentoring skills are also necessary to support and provide feedback to team members. Candidates should have strong knowledge of hardware, software, applications, programming, design techniques, and engineering principles.

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review and approve test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures.
• Review and approve testing programs addressing database impacts, software scenarios, or usability.
• Review documentation of software defects and coordinate investigations and resolutions.
• Review and approve test schedules and strategies according to project scope and deadlines.
• Ensure software documentation is accurate, compliant, complete, and risk-mitigated.
• Participate in product design reviews to provide input on requirements, design, schedules, and potential issues.
