QA Performance Test Engineer - ESB Technologies : Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled QA Performance Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a performance testing expert, you will play a critical role in ensuring the scalability, reliability, and optimal performance of our systems, applications, and platforms, especially in the context of SAP migration projects. You will collaborate closely with developers, system architects, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.

About the Role:

As a QA Performance Test Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Performance Test Planning & Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze performance requirements. Design comprehensive performance test plans and strategies, including workload modeling, test scenarios, and success criteria.
• Test Scripting & Execution: Develop and execute performance test scripts using industry-standard tools like LoadRunner and JMeter. Conduct various types of performance tests, including load tests, stress tests, endurance tests, and capacity tests.
• Performance Monitoring & Analysis: Utilize monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and Datadog to monitor system performance during test executions. Analyze test results, identify performance bottlenecks, and provide detailed reports with actionable recommendations.
• Performance Optimization: Collaborate with developers and system architects to identify and implement performance improvements. Contribute to the tuning of applications, databases, and infrastructure to achieve optimal performance.
• Collaboration & Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including developers, project managers, and business analysts, to report on performance test progress, issues, and risks.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging performance testing tools and technologies. Contribute to the continuous improvement of performance testing processes and methodologies.

Requirements:

Must-Haves:

• Proven experience as a dedicated Performance Test Engineer (not just a QA Analyst or Automation Engineer with some performance testing experience).
• Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as LoadRunner and JMeter.
• Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies and the performance testing lifecycle.
• Experience with performance monitoring tools like Dynatrace and Datadog.
• Experience in performance testing of batch jobs.
• Proficiency in analyzing performance test results and identifying bottlenecks.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with Git and Github for version control.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with SAP migration projects.
• Understanding of SAP S4/HANA.
• Experience with cloud-based performance testing.
