Job Description :

A financial firm is looking for a QA Lead to join their team in New York, NY.Compensation: $175-180k Responsibilities:

Lead initiatives for automation of post validation tests
Lead initiatives for automation of regression testing
Develop and enhance QA test processes to reduce the number of production incidents
Develop enhancements to continuously improve application stability and scalability in post-production phase of application projects
Help drive quality and effectiveness of risk automation controls established by business and process application owners
Conduct reviews of applications and workflow processes to target automation effectiveness
Produce high quality user test scripts for multiple applications and workflow procedures that need automation
Train and educate junior team members on QA processes and System architecture

Qualifications:

12 to 15 years of relevant experience
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Experience with Fixed Income, Equities and FX domain
Knowledge of SQL Server and SQL queries
ITIL experience
Able to prepare automation strategy and plan and develop data reconciliation automations
Experience in designing Frameworks
Knowledge in any automation testing tools
Experience working on defect management tools like QC or Jira
Hands-on experience in Database, Data Warehouse (ETL), Data conversion, data migration, functional/regression, back/front end and API testing
Experience setting up testing practices and teams from scratch, Stabilizing Book of Work, creating and publishing QA Metrics and reports to senior tech and business & management
